• Base: Made of high strength 6061 aluminum alloy, this plate is 18 inches long, 11 inches wide and 3/8 inch hardened black anodized finish.
• Arbor:Machine is designed to accommodate 6”  laps (adapter ring for 8“ lap sold separately). The Arbor platen rides on preloaded ball bearings to eliminate endplay.The Arbor has adjusting features for aligning the horizontal  swing of the dop arm assembly.
• Motor:3 inch diameter PM motor with 38 in. oz. Of  torque and 6000 rpm. (Arbor speed approx 80 to 2800 rpm)
• Drive Belt Tension: Self adjusting.
• Upright : This vertical shaft is 3/4” diameter, 17 ˝ Inches tall and nickel plated.
• Height Adjustment: Push button quick release height adjustment allows you to go from one end of the mast to the other. Plus micro height assembly is a single unit on the upright. Calibration is .007 for each dot. One full turn equals .086.
• Horizontal Slide: Round dove tail, positive lock any position.
• Vertical Slide:Positive lock with easy push button release move from one end of the mast to the other.
• Protractor:1° resolution with 5 ° over run on either end of 0° and 90°.  The over run allows for faceting the girdle of the gem.
• Angle Stop Knob: This knob is calibrated to break down protractor scale into 1/10 ° increments I.e. each dot on the knob equals 1/10°, one full turn of the knob equals 1 °.
• Angle Stop:Is positive with micro fine adjustment.
• Dial Indicator: pressure gauge can be used to read 1/10° increments of the angel dial. .003 dial indicator reading equals 1/10°.
• Dop Arm:Is  concentrically  adjustable to .0002 TIR (total indicated run out). The dop arm can be removed easily with out removing the index gear. This access allows multiple head operations by commercial faceting or schools.
• Precision Collet Chuck:This chuck is a split self –centering type.
• Dop Alignment:Is done with a set screw that permits removal and replacement of the dop while maintaining radial alignment.
• Index Trigger:Is a brass tooth that can be replaced when ever needed.
• Index Splitter: (cheater): Radial type rotates the dop arm 10° right or 10° left of the center position. This adjustment is smooth and with anti –back lash.
